クリスマスまでカウントダウンです。
ロスは先週からまるで日本の梅雨のように雨が続き
クリスマスショッピングに行きたい気持ちが失せてしまうほど
毎日雨が降っています。
私の親友と私は年に一度この時期になると、ロデオドライブに
行き、素敵なレストランでランチそしてお互いに欲しい物を
クリスマスギフトとして買っています。
昨日の土曜日も大雨の中、予定通りロデオドライブに行ってきましたが
お天気のせいなのか不景気が影響しているのか
本当にクリスマスが来るの？と思うほど閑散としていました。
しかし、レストランやコーヒーショップはビックリする位混んでいて
ちょっと不思議な感じでしたね。
雨の中を歩いて色々なお店を覘いてみましたが
どのショップでもあまり活気も感じられず買いたいという気が
起きませんでした。
でも親友とのランチは最高でした。
結局、今年はランチだけにして25日に
ギフト交換をする事にしました。
そして今日の日曜日、大雨の中を再びクリスマスショッピングに。
先週末と比べかなりの人手でしたが、
それでもあまり活気が感じられませんでした。
一人に対して一つのギフトではなく、平均で一人に3?5種類ぐらいの
ギフトを用意しますので、大変です。
私の家族は母を入れて6名、ですから少なくても30種類ぐらいの
ギフトが必要になります。プラス友人達もいますので大変です。
クリスマスには、我が家に家族そして友人達が多く集まります。
ビルは朝早くからハムとポークを焼きクリスマスデナーの準備をし、
友人達もそれぞれ自慢の料理を作って持ってきてくれます。
クリスマスを家族そして友人達と毎年過ごせる私はとても幸せだと
思っています。
2010年も残り少なくなりました。
来年が今年より素晴らしい一年になるようにがんばりましょうね。

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
I’d be inclined to concede with you one this subject. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!

While I tend to agree with the post I sincerely believe that car insurance has become too complex for the average policy holder. Just like any serious purchase however you must perform due diligence and research the car insurance companies before you purchase.
