今日も嬉しいメールが日本から届きました。
金沢にいる息子を訪ねて、彼がＢＹＢで教えていた頃の生徒さんが
先日帰国になり、淳もロスに戻ってくる日が近いと言うこともあって
家族で彼を金沢まで尋ねてくださったそうです。
彼からのその時のメールと写真が送ってきましたので紹介しますね。
Hello. JUN-KUN,
先日は、ありがとうございました。
久しぶりにお会いできて、すごく嬉しかったです。
娘のわがままがなければもっと色々お話したかったのですが
そうもいかず・・・。
でも、本当に日本でお会いできて良かったです。
これも一期一会ですよね。
自分のロス駐在中にBYBでお世話になって
07年に淳君が日本へ行かれて
そして今年自分が帰国し、日本の石川県の内灘町で
お会いできるとは。
サロンで皆さん（生徒の方）と淳君が楽しそうに話をされているのを
見て、ちょっとうらやましくなりました。
自分もまた、こんな時間を過ごせるといいなと。
すぐには無理かもしれませんが、自分も新しい環境で探してみます。
それから、淳君の日本語にさらに磨きがかかっていることにも
驚かされました。それも淳君がこだわって取り組んだ成果と思います。
今回、石川まで行って本当に良かったです。
淳君から新たなパワーをもらいました。
こちらに帰ってきて日本の時間の流れの早さに少々疲れていたような気がしますが
同じ日本の地でアメリカから来て、生き生きとしている淳君を見て
自分も頑張ろうと言う気持ちが自然と湧いてきました。
残すところ帰国まで約１ヵ月ですね。
自分の経験上、本当にアッと言う間です。
帰国準備で忙しいとは思いますが、仕事もプライベートも悔いのないように過ごしてください。
少々大袈裟かもしれませんが、ロスは第二の故郷のような気がします。
必ずいつかトーランスへ遊びに行きます。
また、いつの日かロスか日本のどちらかでお会いできると信じています。
それでは、残りの期間、体調には十分お気をつけください。
